The 5th International Conference on Composite Materials and Material Engineering (ICCMME2020) has been held successfully from January 13-16, 2020 at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. There were about 100 delegates from 16 countries that attended the conference, several experts in related fields were invited to give keynote & Plenary speeches. The in-depth discussions among the attendees effectively advanced the academic exchange.

On Jan. 15's afternoon, the participants visited Energy Materials Laboratory, Yonsei University. Then, some attendees had a walking tour in Campus.  

At the awards dinner, chaired by the chairman of the conference - Prof. Jong Hak Kim, the plenary speaker - Prof. Michael D. Guiver presented the certificates of Excellent Oral Presentation and Session Chairs. At the same time, the participants enjoyed traditional Korean musical instrument performances during the dinner.  

 

Moreover the conference was composed of 9 technical oral sessions and poster session, topics coverd, for example, Advanced Materials and Magnetic Materials, Composite Materials and Engineering, Biomaterials and Biotechnology, Nanocomposites and Nanotechnology, Polymer Composite and so on. Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference.
