Visa Information

 

Persons entering the Republic of Korea must have a visa according to their purpose of visit, such as for work, travel or study, and must be attached to their individual passports.

How to issue a visa

- Application and Place of issue: Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Korea
For certain cases, the local immigration office (i.e. Jongno, Ulsan, Donghae, Sokcho) issues visa issuance certificate (or visa issuance number).
- Required documents: Passport and visa issuance application form (for details, visit www.visa.go.kr)
- Visa issuance fee: About $40 to $90 (may differ according to the duration of stay)
